Remote Energy Monitoring’s Smart Metering Operations Suite (SMOS) is a proven scalable enterprise smart metering solution. SMOS has been designed and developed in the UK by Remote Energy Monitoring based upon experience gained with the UK’s largest smart meter pilot project and from exposure to several large scale smart metering projects in the United States.

SMOS is meter, network and protocol agnostic; offering a complete secure meter data and transaction management system for smart metering operations. SMOS supports a wide range of end to end smart business processes including prepayment and debt management.

SMOS is a scalable, high performance and resilient enterprise application which is built upon Oracle 11g and Oracle TimesTen in memory database technology. It includes a sophisticated user interface framework delivering rich functionality to distinct user communities within the enterprise. SMOS includes a seamless interface to SAP.
