Multi-mode meter - smart
The smart multi-mode meter is a modular design that protects against technology obsolescence.
It meets the advanced smart metering needs of residential and small business
consumers and sets a new standard for precision, reliability, advanced
functionality, communications and cost-effectiveness.
The multi-mode meter is a single-phase electricity meter which measures and records import and
export energy consumption. It may be remotely configured to operate in one of
many modes including credit or prepayment. It includes an internal 100amp relay
that enables remote energisation.
It is designed and manufactured to the highest standards of quality and accuracy and conforms to all relevant British Standards and European Standards.
It conforms to the latest ERA Smart Meter Requirements Specification (SRSM) and is further enhanced by a remote firmware update feature that allows any new firmware to be remotely uploaded, delivering enhanced future flexibility.
